Silc Pig Silicone Pigments - 9 colour trial pack
*Silc Pig™ 9 Pack Sampler includes BLACK, BLOOD, BLUE, BROWN, GREEN, LIGHT FLESH, RED, WHITE, YELLOW.
SilcPig pigments by Smooth On are widely used. They are basic primary colours and many artists and silicone painting tutors do recommend them.
Artist comment:
"I prefer to use SAM pigments or Enfis, as these are tested to be colourfast - it is thought that SilcPig (reds in particular) can fade or change colour over time. I have not been able to demonstrate this yet but I do know other renowned artists who have painted using SilcPig and found the reds have faded and given the baby a yellowish hue. I do use SilcPig for mould tinting because they are less expensive. (having said all this, I do find the 'blood' colour in this range to be a really lovely colour great for blushing and lip colour)"
Silc Pig™ pigments are very concentrated and a very small amount of pigment will color a proportionally large amount of silicone. The more you add in proportion to the volume of liquid rubber, the more dramatic the color effect.
