Artist's Comment:
Slacker is a silicone softener/additive which makes Ecoflex feel more gel-like and less rubbery. You can mix it in at different ratios depending on the effect: a little (10–30%) gives softer, squishier rubber; 50% or more makes it very jelly-like but also weaker and slower to cure. Always test small batches first to find the feel you like.
I tend to add between 20% to 35% depending how soft I want the baby to be, it also makes the surface a little stick until it is painted and so it's a good idea to dust it with a good brand of silicone matting powder to make the surface velvety smooth.
For example: a 20% mix would be say 1000g of A, and 1000g of B (total 2000 g) so 20% of 2000g would be 400g of slacker. So A 1000g / B 1000g and Slacker 400g.

Slacker™
Slacker® is one component translucent clear fluid that is added to our translucent platinum-cure silicones such as Dragon Skin™ and Ecoflex™ products. Slacker® will change the “feel” of the silicone rubber to a softer and more “flesh-like” material. It also alters the rebound properties of the silicone, making it feel more like human tissue.
Slacker® allows the user to vary the degree of tackiness to the cured silicone, allowing for the creation of self-sticking silicone appliances. The amount of tackiness is in direct proportion to the amount of Slacker® added. Pieces created with Slacker™ will not exude silicone oil, eliminating a common problem with other softening methods.
