For Thickening Smooth-On Silicones
THI-VEX™ is made especially for thickening Smooth-On silicones. Different viscosities can be attained by varying the amount of THI-VEX®.
"I use Thi-Vex a lot, for thickening my Platsil Gel 00 for fixing and repairing the blank doll before painting. I also sometimes use Thi-Vex to thicken my painting silicone, for example for painting nail tips (I thicken it with Thi-Vex and then thin it back down with solvent, and this stops it from 'spreading' like honey when used thickly) You will see me using Thi-Vex a LOT on my videos. (many viewers think I am saying 'FIVE-X', I'm not I'm saying Thi-Vex)"
